Looking for PC Upgrade Advice for Streaming on a Budget

Hey everyone! I built my PC back in 2016 and it's been great for light gaming like Minecraft and Overwatch. However, now that I'm getting into streaming, I'm realizing my build is getting a bit outdated. Currently, I play games like Phasmophobia and Dead by Daylight with friends and I'm aiming for good performance while streaming. My current setup includes an i5 6600k CPU, RTX 2060 GPU, Asus Z170-AR motherboard, 16GB DDR4 RAM, and a 650W power supply. I mostly game at 1080p but might move to 1440p soon. Since I've been out of the loop on hardware upgrades, I'm looking for advice on a new build that won't break the bank. Do I really need to replace everything? Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Given your current setup, you won’t find a good upgrade path without swapping out most components. Your CPU's architecture is pretty old now. My suggestion would be to look for a new motherboard, Ryzen 5 or Intel i5 CPU, and a good graphics card like the RTX 3060. This should help you handle streaming really well without going overboard on your budget.

That sounds about right. It's tough because the market has changed a lot since you built your PC. A new CPU and GPU will make a huge difference.
