Looking for Upgrade Advice for My Gaming PC

I've been thinking about what hardware upgrades could be beneficial for my gaming rig. I mainly enjoy MMORPGs (like waiting for Chrono Odyssey) and occasionally dive into new single-player RPGs. Overall, my setup is pretty solid, but I've noticed some FPS drops when trying to run higher 2K graphics, and I'm considering a graphics card upgrade in a year or two. Also, I'm not sure about overclocking since I'm a bit clueless about how that works and the potential benefits. My M.2 SSD is older but still does the job for my 500GB needs. Here's what I currently have:

1. WD Black SN750 500GB M.2 SSD
2. ASUS Radeon RX 7900 XT TUF OC - 20GB GDDR6 RAM
3. ASUS TUF GAMING B650-PLUS WIFI Motherboard - AMD B650 - AMD AM5 socket - DDR5 RAM - ATX
4. Corsair Vengeance DDR5-6000 - 32GB - CL36 - Dual Channel (2 pcs) - AMD EXPO & Intel XMP
5. AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D Processor - 8 cores - 4.2 GHz - AMD AM5 - AMD Box
6. Corsair TX750M, 750W PSU ATX 12V v2-4, 80 PLUS Gold, Semi Modular, 6+2-pin PCIe
7. Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE - CPU cooler
8. 34" ASUS TUF VG34VQL1B - 3440x1440 (WQHD) - 165Hz - VA - Curved

Any advice on possible upgrades? Thanks!

Honestly, the SSD is probably the most straightforward upgrade you could make right now. A larger SSD can drastically improve load times and reduce texture pop-ins in games. You can think about upgrading your GPU when the next generation comes out since you're managing okay with what you have for now.

Overall, I'd say focus on the SSD first, and then consider the GPU later!

I had no idea the SSD could make that much difference! I was told in another thread that I wouldn't notice a significant change in load times. It’s interesting to hear a different perspective.
