Looking for Web Development Courses Similar to CS50 but Less Hand-Holding

I'm currently wrapping up CS50 and I've really enjoyed learning about Python, Bootstrap, and Flask through the problems. This experience has sparked my interest in web development, and I'm even considering freelancing to boost my resume before graduating. I'm searching for a less hand-holding course or certificate that can help me dive deeper into web development. While I appreciate the structure CS50 provides, I'd prefer something that challenges me more and offers guided practice—I'm still fairly new to this side of programming. Also, certifications would be a nice bonus, but they aren't essential. I know I could just work on projects, but I want something that gives me a bit more direction rather than having to come up with project ideas all on my own.

You might want to check out Scrimba.com too. They have a lot of interactive courses that feel more hands-on compared to traditional ones.

Also, don’t forget about CS50's web development course (CS50W) if you’re still looking for more from them. It's designed specifically for web dev and builds on what you’ve already learned in CS50.

Fullstackopen covers a lot of key concepts if you’re interested in diving deeper into full-stack development. It's a good mix of theory and practical work.

The Odin Project is a great resource! It’s free and covers web development without holding your hand too much. You can really push your skills there.

Free Code Camp and The Odin Project are solid options as well! Keep in mind, though, that no course really prepares you completely for freelancing. Real-world experience is key—just jumping into projects might be the best way to learn.
