Hey everyone! I'm from Belgium and I've assembled a PC build that I'm quite satisfied with performance-wise. However, I'm on the lookout for ways to cut down the overall cost while maintaining the same level of performance. Here's what I've got so far:
- **GPU**: Palit GeForce RTX 5070 Infinity – €610
- **CPU**: Ryzen 5 9600X – €213
- **MOBO**: ASRock B850M Pro-A WiFi – €160
- **RAM**: Corsair Vengeance 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 6000MHz CL30 – €117
- **CPU Cooler**: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE – €42
- **SSD**: Samsung 990 EVO Plus 1TB – €76
Do you have any suggestions on how I can save some cash without sacrificing performance? I'm open to suggestions for better value alternatives for any of these components. Thanks a ton in advance!

I found a few ways to save some cash! For instance, you could swap out the CPU cooler since I found a cheaper one that works about the same. Also, if you're open to GPU alternatives, the 7600X offers nearly the same performance for less money, and the RAM could be replaced with options from GSkill or Patriot, which can be cheaper than Corsair but offer solid performance. Check it out on PCPartPicker!
If you’re flexible with the GPU, you might want to consider the 9070XT instead of the 5070, especially if the pricing isn’t inflated. For your SSD, keep in mind that other brands can offer similar specs for less, so I'd say shop around a bit!
Same goes for the RAM—definitely look into brands other than Samsung for potential savings since they perform similarly!
Just a heads-up about the PALIT 3070 Ti—I’ve heard they can have some cooling issues and overheat easily. If you’re set on getting a 5070, I’d recommend looking at other manufacturers for better thermal performance.
Gotcha, thanks so much for the info!
Thanks a lot, I really appreciate it!
