I just got a 2012 MacBook Pro, and I'm hearing some strange ticking noises. The screen is blank, and I'm not sure what's going on with it. I would really appreciate any advice on how to troubleshoot or fix this issue. Thanks!

It sounds like your MacBook might have a spinning hard drive. Those ticking noises could indicate that the drive is failing. If possible, could you share a video of the noise? That would help narrow it down!
I swapped it for an SSD. Will post a video shortly!
