So, I handed my phone to my little brother (he's 7) during a wedding to keep him entertained, and I thought it would be fine. I noticed him playing with the wallpapers and stuff, but didn't think much of it. When I got my phone back, I was shocked! All my wallpapers are gone, and all the app icons and folders have disappeared. I can still find and open the apps by searching for them, and I can manually rearrange everything, but I'm really curious about what he did. It seems like he might have switched profiles or something while keeping my apps. Any idea what happened?

Oh man, my toddler did something similar, and the quickest fix was just restarting the phone. Everything went back to normal after that! I also locked down my settings afterward to prevent future mishaps, just a thought!
It seems like he might have fiddled with the UI settings. Try pressing and holding on an empty spot on your home screen; this should bring up some options. You can go through and see if you can adjust things back to how they were. It's also possible he just messed with the arrangement, so a little exploration should help!
Why would you let such a young kid use your phone anyway?
