So, my cat walked across my keyboard for the first time ever and now it seems to have stopped working! I noticed that he activated something with a lock symbol and a Windows icon in front of it—the number lock light is on, but none of the keys are responding. I'm not sure how to fix this. Does anyone know what could have happened or how to get my keyboard back to normal?

You could try unplugging your keyboard and then restarting your computer. After you reboot, plug the keyboard back in and see if it works. If it still doesn’t respond, maybe test it with another keyboard if you have one to rule out any damage.
It sounds like he might have enabled a keyboard lock feature, though I’m not sure which one. Since you have a gaming keyboard, check if there’s a specific shortcut to toggle it. Try restarting your computer and see if that does anything. If it’s still not working, you might have to look for a hardware issue.
Thanks! I’ll try restarting, I didn’t think that would help, but I’ll give it a go.

I just checked and it’s a pretty new keyboard, so I hope there's no damage!
