I accidentally dropped my iPhone 14 Pro in water last night. The phone seems to be working well otherwise, but it won't charge when I plug it in. There's no indication of water damage, and it's just unresponsive. I tried using a wireless charging pad overnight to get it going, but this morning, it still won't charge using the plug. Should I just give it more time to dry out?

There could still be moisture stuck in the Lightning port. Avoid forcing a wired charge for at least 24 to 48 hours to give it time to dry. Wireless charging is fine, but monitor for any overheating. If it remains unresponsive after drying out, you might need to visit an Apple Store.
Instead of rice, consider using silica gel packs! They’re way better at absorbing moisture. Seal your phone with them overnight, and meanwhile, keep using wireless charging until the port is completely dry. Don't rush to plug it in too soon to avoid further damage.
It sounds like the water might have damaged the charging circuitry. Water resistance can decrease over time, so even if the phone seems fine, be careful. If you have no AppleCare+, it could be a serious issue! Keep an eye on it in case water enters the battery, as that can be dangerous.
Stick with wireless charging for now and be careful about forcing a cable in. Even if the phone seems okay, moisture can still cause issues with charging. Let it dry out completely, and if it doesn't work after 48 hours, you may need to get it checked out.
I think there might be something blocking the charge pins. Try taking a business card with some isopropyl alcohol on it and gently running it in and out of the charging port a few times. Look for any discoloration or debris. You might also want to use a toothpick to get any lint out.
