I was just using my laptop when the screen suddenly went black. At first, I was confused, but then I noticed a small line of light near one corner of the screen. I assumed it was a crack, so I touched it and found out it wasn't a crack but a line of light that seems to grow each time I touch it. Now, my laptop won't turn on at all. Can anyone help me troubleshoot this issue, or will I need to get it repaired? I'm really worried!

If you're not tech-savvy, no worries! Just plug in an external monitor or even a TV with an HDMI cable. If you see the display on the external screen, then it’s definitely a problem with your laptop screen. Otherwise, you may need to look at hardware issues.
It sounds like your LCD screen is failing. Have you tried connecting your laptop to an external monitor? That might help you determine if it’s just the screen or a bigger issue with the computer itself.
