I've got a bulky Acer PC that makes my room feel like a sauna after just 30 minutes of gaming. Unfortunately, my AC isn't doing much because the thermostat is in another room. In winter, I could just crack a window to cool things down, but it's summer now and that's not an option. I'm considering getting a standalone AC unit that could vent the heat out through my door since the window can't accommodate any setup. I would love to get your thoughts on this and hear any other solutions you might have! Thanks a bunch!

Try undervolting your CPU and GPU if that's an option for you. If not, cooling your room with AC might be the best bet. Also, limiting your FPS can help; there’s no need to run your PC over your monitor's refresh rate.
In my office, I have a ceiling fan and a small desk fan that helps to blow the warm air out. I also use a vent booster that pulls in more air from the AC vent to cool my workspace more effectively.
If the heat is a big issue, consider relocating your PC to another room entirely and using long USB/HDMI cables. This way, it won’t heat your room while still being usable!
