I recently built my first PC and I'm feeling pretty proud! The wiring isn't perfect, but I'm planning to tidy it up later. However, when I power on the PC, everything seems to be working, but my monitor just shows a black screen. I've checked, and the HDMI cable is connected to the GPU, but there's still a red light on the GPU that turns off once the PC is on. Could this be causing the issue? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

It sounds like something might not be seated properly. I’d recommend checking the RAM, GPU, and cable connections first since those are the easiest to troubleshoot. If that doesn’t help, the CPU might be a last resort since it’s trickier to re-seat.
Could you share some pictures with the side panel off? That way we can see your setup better. Just ensure the GPU is in the PCIe slot closest to the CPU!
Sure! I'm still working on the wiring, so it looks a bit messy. Here’s the link to the pics: https://imgur.com/a/P5jejrX
It could be an issue with how the PSU is seated. The red light on your GPU might indicate it's not getting enough power. Make sure everything is plugged in securely!
I have a 750 watt non-modular PSU. Is that enough for a 5070 Ti?

That’s a good point, I'll check those connections!
