I've been having an issue with my PC where it keeps turning on and off repeatedly. I've tried several fixes, like removing one of the RAM sticks, cleaning the internals, taking out the CMOS, and even applying new thermal paste. Nothing seemed to work until I removed my GPU, at which point the PC started up without any issues. Does this mean I need to get a new GPU after just three years of use?

It sounds like your GPU might be damaged. If you’re experiencing power cycling, it could also be the PSU failing to handle the load. Trying a similar wattage GPU could help confirm if it's the GPU or the power supply that's the issue.
Have you thought about putting the GPU back in? Sometimes they can get a bit dirty in the contacts or become slightly unseated. There are pins at each end of the connector that let the system know it's plugged in properly. If they're not registering, it could cause restart issues.
Honestly, it’s hard to say without knowing your full specs. But if your GPU is only three years old, it might still be under warranty. You should check!
