Hey everyone! I currently have an Intel Core i5 9400F paired with a GeForce RTX 2070, and I'm looking to upgrade my CPU. I'm torn between the Intel Core i5 12400F and 13400F, but I'm also considering AMD as an option. I mainly use my PC for gaming, so I want to ensure I make the right choice. Any suggestions?

Switching to AMD might seem tempting since many are recommending it, but don’t forget that it will require a new motherboard. If you decide to stick with Intel, the 13400F is a solid pick.
Upgrading to AM5 and DDR5 is a good option if you're looking to future-proof your build. Just check your budget first! Some of those CPUs can get pricey.
If you're upgrading, I'd suggest going for the i5 13400F. It has more cores and is a newer model, which will help with gaming performance.
Have you thought about switching to AMD? They offer some great CPUs that might give you better performance. Just keep in mind that if you go AMD, you'll need a new motherboard and potentially some new RAM too.
For your setup, you might want to avoid Intel altogether. If you're okay with a bit of investment, consider the Ryzen 5 series like the 5600 or 5700X for great gaming performance.
