I'm having trouble with my Lambda function after deploying it with Docker. The function works perfectly when I run the script locally, but once it's deployed, I get an error saying that one of the libraries isn't installed. I'm building a Docker container as part of a simple pipeline involving two S3 buckets: one bucket where files are uploaded and another where the results should be sent after processing. I'm quite new to Docker and AWS, and this issue keeps frustrating me. I tested everything via the AWS console and found that the package is indeed missing during execution, even though I confirmed that it exists in my local Docker image. Any ideas on what I could be missing?

You might want to check the stack trace in CloudWatch logs for more specific errors. That info can give you precise insights into what's going wrong. Without it, troubleshooting is a bit of a shot in the dark.
It sounds like you might not be installing the missing package in your Dockerfile. Are you doing it through the terminal inside the container or directly in the Dockerfile? Don’t forget to ensure your image is pushed to ECR properly after making changes.
It's also worth checking what infrastructure as code (IaC) tool you're using. If your IaC isn't properly configured for building and deploying, it could be skipping necessary steps. Maybe consider if you really need a Docker image for this Lambda function as it could increase costs if the file upload rate is high. An EC2 instance might be better suited for heavy processing tasks.
If your code is in NodeJS, one common error is forgetting to include the `node_modules` directory when you upload your function to AWS. Make sure that everything your Lambda needs is included in the deployment package, or AWS won't have access to the required packages.
I installed it in the Dockerfile and ensured the R package installation commands are there. I'm using the SAM CLI to handle building and deploying, so it should push to ECR automatically.
