Hey everyone! I'm about to pull the trigger on my first brand new PC build and I'm feeling pretty good about it. However, I'd love any last-minute tips or suggestions to help improve my setup before I make the purchase. I'm building an AM4 system because the AM5 options are just too pricey for me right now. My goal is to game at 1440p with a 180Hz refresh rate.
Currently, I can't get my hands on the Ryzen 7 5700X or 5800X3D CPUs since they're quite expensive here in Australia, but I plan on upgrading from my Ryzen 5 5600 when prices drop. I'm looking to play AAA games and aim to hit my refresh rate in competitive titles.
A couple of things I'm a bit concerned about: is my power supply up to the task for this build? Also, should I be worried about RAM clearance with my CPU cooler? I'd appreciate any insights or suggestions you can offer!
Here's the list of components I've put together: [PCPartPicker Part List](https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/b4XWVF).

It might be a good idea to go for 32GB of RAM instead of 16GB, especially for AAA games. More RAM can really help with performance in those big titles. I also suggest making sure you have at least a 2TB NVMe SSD for better storage and load times. You don’t want to run out of space during a game install!
Your total cost seems a bit higher than some recent builds I’ve seen. If you’re okay with slightly less graphical power, consider the Radeon RX 9060XT. It handles most games easily at 1440p with high settings. I can share my parts list if you're interested in comparing prices.
That sounds interesting! I’d love to see your parts list and see how they compare.
Definitely consider getting 2 sticks of 16GB RAM instead of 1 stick of 32GB. Dual-channel memory can improve performance. Just keep an eye out for good deals since prices have been all over the place lately. Any luck finding a good deal on those?
Not really, I’ve been searching but prices have skyrocketed since last year.

Yeah, I agree! Modern games can take up a lot of space, so having that extra storage can save you a headache later.
