Hey everyone! I'm thinking about upgrading my PC with a new graphics card, specifically the RTX 3060. Right now, I have a Ryzen 5 2400G, and I've read that there's a significant bottleneck between the two components. I found the RTX 3060 for around $200, but I'm unsure if it's worth it given my current processor. I'm mainly looking to play some standard games without pushing too hard on performance. What do you guys think?

If you're upgrading from integrated graphics to a 3060, you're going to see a solid performance jump! Just keep in mind that as you update more components down the line, you might get even better results. So go for it if you find a good deal!
Yeah, I'd say definitely go for the 3060; even with the current CPU, it'll be a huge improvement. I'm stuck with a similar setup, and as long as I manage my background processes, it runs pretty well for gaming!
Bottlenecks aren't really a big issue! It just means you won't be getting the absolute maximum out of the GPU right now. When you eventually upgrade your CPU, you'll likely see improved performance from the GPU too.
Getting just the 3060 should still lead to some noticeable improvements. It won't be a massive boost until you upgrade your CPU since the 2400G is fairly dated, but it's definitely a step in the right direction.
I think the 3060 might not be the best value at the moment. Have you considered the 6700XT? You can often find those around $200 too, and they perform similarly to a 3070. If you're primarily looking to upgrade one component right now, that might be a better option!
