I'm about to start high school and will finish my introductory Python course soon. Initially, I was excited about getting into machine learning (ML), but after looking into it, I feel like it's a huge leap. There's just so much math, along with libraries and algorithms to process. It seems pretty complicated, and I'm worried that I won't have enough time to fully commit while in high school. Should I consider waiting until college when I've grasped most of the math concepts and have a related degree? If I do hold off, what can I do over the next four years to get ready for ML or at least stay engaged in programming? Or should I try to learn ML gradually during high school? Thanks for any advice!

ML has been a popular topic for high school science fairs recently, especially with applications in biology. You can definitely take it on as a project, but using ML as a tool in a different area might be more common. Plus, fellow students might have insights or connections that could help you out with the technical side.
