I'm building a PC that I'll mainly use for gaming while also recording gameplay and doing some video editing. I'm wondering if having two SSDs would improve my performance in this scenario, or if one SSD would be sufficient. Any advice?

If you're going with NVMe SSDs, you probably won't notice a huge performance boost from using two drives. For gaming, even a single SATA SSD is often sufficient since you're unlikely to max out the speed. However, having two drives can provide some advantages, like keeping your OS and important programs on one and your games on another. I recommend a smaller SSD for your OS and a larger one for storage - it's just more convenient!

I get that, but what if I’m playing games and recording at the same time? Wouldn't two drives help then?
