Hey everyone! I'm trying to decide between the 5070 and the 5070 Ti. My current setup includes a 5700x3D CPU, a 3060 Ti GPU, and 32GB of RAM. I'm kind of in the dark about whether my CPU would handle the 5070 Ti well, or if I should just go with the 5070 for now. Any insights?

I’d echo what others are saying and recommend the 5070 Ti. It has the advantage of 16GB VRAM, which is a real bonus for gaming—and even more so for game development like yours. That extra memory will help with multiple instances of UE5 and demanding graphics settings.

Definitely go for the 5070 Ti. The standard 5070 just doesn’t offer enough value with its lower VRAM. If you're gaming at higher resolutions or want to future-proof your setup, the extra VRAM is crucial—even if it means spending a little more right now.

Your current CPU is perfectly fine for the 5070 Ti. If you're considering quality and longevity, think about the games coming out that might use more VRAM, especially with ray tracing on the rise. In particular, titles like GTA VI are going to push graphics to the limits. If you have the cash for the 5070 Ti, I think it’s worth it in the long run!

Depends on what resolution you're targeting, but if you can afford it, the 5070 Ti is the way to go for smoother performance overall at 1440p or beyond.

Your CPU should be totally fine with the 5070 Ti. A lot of folks might steer you away from the 5070, but the pricing can play a huge role in your decision. Recently, there were some significant price drops on the 5070, making it a solid option if budget is a concern. However, if you can stretch for the 5070 Ti, which is definitely a stronger card, it might be the better investment for the long run—especially if you really want more VRAM. Just weigh your budget and the current prices; both cards have their merits.
