Should I Take My PC to IT Repair If I’m Unsure About Malware?

I've had some sketchy experiences online, like clicking on links that led me to dubious websites and downloading things without really knowing their purpose. I've scanned my system multiple times with tools like MS Defender, Malwarebytes, Hitmanpro, and Bitdefender, and they've all come back clean. However, I keep getting these odd notifications from Malwarebytes about "search hijacking", which a mod said might just be a bug. Since I might need to bring in my tablet for repair soon, I'm wondering if IT shops have better scanning tools for detecting malware, specifically rootkits or trojans. I'm really looking for some peace of mind on this one!

If your scans aren’t finding anything, chances are your system is clean. But if you want absolute certainty, consider resetting Windows. Just ensure you back up important files first, maybe to OneDrive or a USB stick, and keep your PC offline while doing it. Go for a full reset instead of the 'keep my files' option for better results.

Thanks! I actually did that using a different PC to prepare the USB for the Windows reinstall. After deleting all the partitions and reinstalling, I ran an offline scan, and thankfully, nothing showed up in the detection history.
