I'm considering whether I should upgrade my current CPU from a 7500F to a 7800X3D. I have an RTX 5060 Ti graphics card. Is this upgrade worthwhile, or will my current setup still perform well in gaming?

It also depends on the games you play. If you focus on competitive esports games with max settings and have a high refresh rate monitor, then upgrading might be beneficial. However, if you're playing mainly AAA games at lower quality settings, you might not notice a huge difference without a significant CPU upgrade.
It really depends on whether you're hitting CPU limits in your games. If you mainly play esports titles like CS2 or Valorant at lower resolutions like 1080p and you're chasing high FPS, then it could be worth it. Otherwise, the 7500F is pretty powerful for your 5060 Ti in most cases.
I wouldn't recommend it. I have a 5600X paired with a 4060 Ti, and they work great together. Upgrading to a 7800X3D seems like overkill unless you're planning to upgrade your GPU soon.

The only esports game I play is Dota 2, but I also enjoy AAA and indie games. My monitor is 1440p with a 120Hz refresh rate. Do you think the upgrade is necessary for me?
