Should I Upgrade My Power Supply When Building a New PC?

Hey guys! I'm planning to upgrade some components in my PC and wanted your advice on whether I should also switch out my power supply. Currently, I have a Ryzen 5 4600G, 16GB RAM, and I'm using SSDs through SATA cables to handle my storage. When I built my system, I opted for an Apevia Power Supply, as it was gold-rated and had enough capacity for my setup according to my friends. I've had no issues with the PSU in the two years since, but now I'm wondering if I should look for a more reliable power supply before making these upgrades. Here's a breakdown of the parts I'm looking to get: [PCPartPicker Build List](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/GvfCcx)

Your current power supply should handle your new setup just fine, but if you can budget for a modular PSU, that could make your build much cleaner. It’s one area where skimping can come back to bite you, so if you feel comfortable investing in a more reliable brand, I'd say go for it!

Yeah, that’s what worries me too. I was thinking the same thing about reliability. Just wanted to be safe with the new hardware investments!
