Strange Boot Loop Issue with My New PC Build

I just built a new PC using a Gigabyte H370 motherboard, 16GB of G.Skill RAM running at 3600MHz, and an i7 9700K processor. Here's the weird part: the RAM works perfectly fine when I use slots three and four, but when I try to install it in slots two and four for dual-channel operation, my PC just boot loops. Similarly, using the RAM in the first slot also results in the same boot loop problem. I'm starting to think it might be an issue with the motherboard, particularly with the first two RAM slots. Any ideas on what might be going on?

It sounds like your motherboard officially supports up to 2666MHz DDR4, and for the XMP to work, it usually needs an 8th-gen CPU. May I ask what BIOS version you're on? You might need the latest one to stabilize that hardware combination. Also, it can be problematic if the BIOS is misconfigured.

I downloaded the latest BIOS, but I can’t even access it to reduce frequencies. If I use the dual-channel slots, it seems to run at 3600MHz without giving me the option to lower it.
