I'm putting together my first AMD PC build and would love some feedback on my component choices. I'm planning to fit everything in a mini case, and I've had good experiences with Lian Li cases in the past. Here's what I'm considering:
- Motherboard: ASUS B850M-PLUS TUF Gaming Wifi (AMD AM5 microATX) - $199.99
- Power Supply: Lian Li SP1000P 1000 Watt 80 Plus Platinum ATX - $184.99
- Case: Lian Li A3 microATX Mini Tower - $99.99
- Graphics Card: Zotac NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 SOLID CORE Triple Fan - $999.99
- Cooling: Lian Li GA II LITE RGB 360mm Water Cooling Kit - $109.99
- Storage: Samsung 990 PRO 2TB PCIe SSD - $229.99
- Processor: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D Granite Ridge AM5 4.30GHz (16-core) - $659.99
- RAM: G.Skill Flare X5 Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR5-6000 - $199.99
Let me know if there's anything I should change or if this build looks solid!

Looks like you're off to a great start! Just be aware that RAM prices can vary quite a bit, but $200 for 32GB seems pretty standard now. Good luck finding deals too, sometimes local shops have better prices!
Yeah, watch for bundles, sometimes they can save you a lot!
Honestly, those prices are pretty steep but not surprising given the current market. Just keep an eye out for sales or discounts, especially like during holidays. You'll find something better eventually!
Totally agree! Just be patient; deals pop up all the time.
True, but it can get frustrating waiting for prices to drop.
Just a heads-up, make sure you've double-checked the compatibility of your components. If your only AMD part is the CPU, that doesn't really make it an "AMD build". But, it looks good overall!
What's wrong with that? As long as it runs well, right?
Exactly! It's about performance, not just brands!

If you have a Micro Center near you, you might snag some better deals on RAM or combos with your CPU.
