Thoughts on My New Gaming PC Build?

Hey everyone! I've been planning a new gaming PC after using my brother's build from six years ago. My budget is around 1300€ but I'm willing to stretch it for some good deals, especially since I plan to wait for summer sales. Here's the rundown of my parts selection:

- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 5 7600X3D
- **CPU Cooler:** Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE
- **Motherboard:** Asus TUF GAMING B650-PLUS
- **RAM:** Kingston Fury Beast 2x16GB DDR5-6000 Cl30
- **Storage:** Lexar NM790 1 TB
- **GPU:** Gigabyte GAMING OC Radeon RX 7700 XT
- **Case:** Corsair FRAME 4000D
- **Power Supply:** Corsair RM650e (2025)
- **Case Fans:** ARCTIC P14 PWM PST A-RGB 2x, ARCTIC P14 PWM PST A-RGB 3-pack

I also have a couple of questions:
1. I'm considering upgrading to a 7800X3D, but I've heard rumors about it frying on the Asus motherboard. Is that true? Would updating the BIOS fix it?
2. What's the best way to choose a power supply? PCPartPicker estimates around 500W, but AMD suggests 700W. How do I reconcile that? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

When it comes to power supplies (PSUs), it's all about quality over just wattage. For your 7700 XT, a good 650W PSU is usually enough if you have quality components, but I'd recommend aiming for 750W or 850W if you plan on upgrading your GPU in the future. Also, make sure to have separate PCI-E cables for the GPU. Always check PSU tier lists to find reliable models, and it looks like the RM650e should work great for your build!

That makes sense! I saw 650W recommended a lot, but the AMD suggestion threw me off. Good to know my PSU is a solid choice!
