Trouble Installing Windows on My Desktop and Laptop

I'm switching from Linux back to Windows and I'm facing a major roadblock. I've tried using Ventoy with a Windows 11 ISO, but I keep getting an error that says "Install driver to show hardware." I have no clue what that means, and I haven't found any solutions online. I've also tried different tools like Balena Etcher and WoeUSB with various Windows 11 ISOs directly from the website, but nothing seems to work. Additionally, I'm having the same issue on my laptop that's running Linux Mint. I'm really frustrated and could really use some help here. By the way, I don't have access to any Windows computers to troubleshoot further.

If you're using a genuine Windows ISO on your USB drive, I'd recommend trying the Windows Media Creation Tool instead. They have a version that creates a bootable USB directly, which might help you avoid these issues since you mentioned you can't access a Windows computer directly.

Just a heads up, when you change settings in your BIOS or mess with disk setups, there's a risk of losing data. So back up your important stuff before making any changes. It's better to be safe!

First off, make sure you're actually booting from the USB drive that has Windows on it. Check your BIOS/UEFI settings and set the USB drive to be the first boot option. That could solve some of the problems you’re encountering.
