I'm having a frustrating time trying to log into my work account using Microsoft Authenticator. No matter what I do—removing and adding passkeys, tweaking two-factor authentication settings, or even resetting my account—I keep getting prompted for a verification code while I'm in the app, but it never arrives. The same issue pops up even when I try to log in from outside the app or via Azure. Has anyone experienced this, and do you have any tips to solve it?

Have you looked for an alternative verification method? Sometimes you can choose to receive a code via SMS or text instead of using the app directly. It's worth checking!
Did you recently switch phones? A common reason for problems is forgetting to update the settings at myaccount.microsoft.com after a phone change. If your old phone is still linked, Microsoft might be sending the codes there. You could ask your IT department to reset your MFA if you can’t access the old device.
I ran into similar problems after changing my phone carrier. I ended up having to call IT to set up my new phone (even though I was using the same device). It might help to check with them if that's relevant for you too.
I’ve heard there might be some workaround for this issue, but I can't recall the exact option. If I remember correctly, some users found a way to bypass it! Sorry I can't be more specific, though.
Honestly, I've never had a smooth experience with authenticator apps either. They seem to cause more hassle than they're worth. Hopefully you can find a way around it!

I only get options to enter a code in the Authenticator app or to approve the sign-in request, but neither option works!
