Upgrading from a 1080 Ti: What’s the Best GPU for 3440×1440 Gaming?

I'm looking to upgrade my GPU as I'm currently stuck with a 1080 Ti paired with a 7800x3d. I game on a 3440x1440p 120Hz monitor, but to get decent frame rates, I often have to set graphics to the minimum or lower the resolution. My goal is to smoothly play modern games at great settings without dropping below 120 fps at native resolution. I'm also considering adding a regular 1440p monitor, so I'm concerned about how that might impact GPU performance. I'd prefer something that offers good value rather than just chasing the most powerful option. Any recommendations?

You might want to check out the Gigabyte RX 9700 XT Gaming OC; it’s about 288mm long and should fit into your SFF case nicely.

Yeah, that's definitely a solid choice! You could also think about the upcoming 5070 Ti for a bit of extra power.

Just curious, what games do you usually play? That will help narrow down the best GPU for you. Also, make sure your power supply is up to snuff; having an 850W is good for most options!

I mostly play FromSoftware games, BG3, Elder Scrolls, and Cyberpunk. Planning to upgrade within the next couple of months.
