Upgrading My SSD: Need Help with Installation

I recently bought a pre-built PC that came with a 480GB SSD, but I've run out of space quickly since I play a lot of large games. I decided to buy a 1TB SSD to replace the old one, but as a beginner, I'm not sure how to proceed. Can I just turn off my PC, swap the SSDs, and expect everything to work? Also, I don't think my PC has a slot for multiple SSDs since that wasn't mentioned in the product details.

It's actually better to reinstall Windows on the new SSD instead of trying to clone the old drive. Some motherboards may have an extra M.2 slot on the back, so it might be worth opening it up to check. You can find the manual online to confirm.

If you just replace the SSD with the new one, your computer won't boot because the new drive is blank. You'll need to install Windows on it. Make sure to download and install any programs you want afterward, too.
