I'm new to Linux and I think Ubuntu and Mint are decent, but I'm curious about other options out there for daily use. I'm willing to learn the command line and get more familiar with the system. What distros would you recommend for someone in my position?

Debian is a solid choice; it’s known as the "mother of all distros" for a reason! It’s stable and works well for everyday tasks. Just keep in mind that it might require a bit of learning to set up things that are included by default in other distros.

Totally agree! Debian is pretty reliable, though I've heard it might not include all the plugins you might want right off the bat.
