Today, my ROG Strix 750W Gold Power Supply exploded with a loud bang, and I jumped out of my chair! There was a smell, and I found bits of what seemed like plastic falling out, which makes me think a capacitor blew up. Luckily, my wife's PC is identical to mine, and it seems that nothing else in my setup is damaged. I'm looking for recommendations on equivalent replacement power supplies, as it seems I can still get the same one from Amazon.

The ROG STRIX units are generally made by SeaSonic and come with a solid 10-year warranty. I recommend looking into an ATX 3.1 power supply, which features much stronger capacitors. Older models might handle spikes up to 130%, but ATX 3.1 can safely manage at least 200%. One good option is the Cooler Master MWE V3, which is a fully modular 750W power supply. It’s got excellent ratings and sells for about $80 on Amazon. Check it out: [Link to Part List](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/NsNhPJ).

If you're considering options in that price range, I'd suggest looking at the A850GS instead.
