Hey everyone! I'm really struggling with storage on my PC right now. I have only 500MB left, and despite clearing out the trash, cleaning the disk, and deleting as much as I can, it's not enough. I mainly use my computer for Spotify, drawing, and some school work, but now I'm finding it tough to even do that. Most of my drawings are on a USB drive, but I really don't want to buy a new hard drive when my PC is otherwise functioning fine. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks a lot!

Here are a few tips: 1) Uninstall any apps you don’t actively use. 2) Think about getting a larger SSD for bulk storage. 3) For important files, make three copies: two in different physical locations and one offsite, like on a USB or in the cloud. In my last setup, I used two SSDs - one for the OS and another for storing larger files, which helped keep everything running smoothly.
Try using a tool like Tree Size Free to analyze which files are consuming your disk space. But honestly, 64GB really isn’t enough for most users these days, especially with software and system updates.
You could also look into third-party disk cleanup tools that can help you find additional files to remove. They often identify files that aren't being used, which might free up some needed space!
If you use Spotify, you might want to clear any downloaded music files since they can take up a lot of space. Also, if your usage is mostly light tasks, you might consider switching to a lightweight Linux distro—it might run better on less storage!
If you’re not using hibernation, you can turn that off to free up some space. Just open the command prompt as an admin and type `powercfg -h off`. If your RAM is enough for your needs, this could help you reclaim some extra gigabytes.
Consider adding a second hard drive or replacing your existing one with a larger capacity drive. Even if you manage to free up space today, you’ll likely run into storage issues again soon, especially with updates rolling out and more files being added. And remember to back up your files across multiple drives and the cloud to avoid losing them!

That sounds like a solid strategy! I think having separate drives really helps performance. Plus, the backup idea is essential—just in case!
