What Certifications Can Boost My CV as a Frontend Developer?

I'm a frontend developer with three years of experience and a background in graphic design, but I'm feeling like my CV isn't competitive enough for job applications. I'm looking to enhance it by adding valuable certifications. I checked out Meta's Frontend Developer certification, but it seems too basic for my level. I'm not interested in a beginner course since I already have hands-on experience with technologies like Next.js, TypeScript, and CSS preprocessors. I'm hoping to find recommendations for intermediate or advanced certifications that would genuinely be beneficial for my career. Any suggestions?

There really aren’t many certifications that carry weight in general software development these days. But if you're looking to shift towards something like DevOps, you could consider getting certified in Kubernetes or some cloud platforms which are more recognized in those roles.

Building a solid portfolio beats certifications for showcasing your skills. Highlight your projects on LinkedIn! Even without a degree, I've landed jobs just by networking and presenting my work effectively. Maybe share a post about your recent contributions, like the NPM package you worked on. It shows initiative and can attract attention!

Honestly, certifications can be a bit overrated. I get that they help you stand out when you're applying for jobs, especially with so many applicants. It's more about skill and experience in the field. Have you considered networking more? Sometimes who you know can be just as important as what you have on paper.
