I'm excited to be building my dream PC after years of using a laptop with a 3060 6GB and an i5 11th gen. I've moved around a lot recently, so it took some time to get here. I've done a ton of research using AI, forums, and videos, but I'd love your personal opinions on the parts I've chosen and whether I might have missed anything important. Everything is purchased from Amazon, and I'm located in Spain. So far, I've only bought the GPU and case. Here are my specs:

- **GPU**: White ZOTAC Gaming GeForce RTX 5080 Solid OC 16GB GDDR7
- **Case**: White Lian Li O11 Dynamic Evo
- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 4.7 GHz 8-Core Processor
- **AIO**: White Corsair iCUE LINK TITAN 360 RX LCD 73.5 CFM
- **Motherboard**: Asus ROG STRIX B650-A GAMING WIFI ATX AM5
- **RAM**: White Corsair Vengeance RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 Memory
- **Storage**: Samsung 990 EVO Plus 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 5.0 X2 NVME
- **PSU**: Corsair RM1000x (2024) 1000 W Fully Modular ATX Power Supply
- **Case fans**: (7) CORSAIR RS120 ARGB 120mm PWM Fans

Using a B650 motherboard with a 9800X3D CPU seems a bit off, like putting Ferrari tires on a compact car. Try to aim for at least a mid-range B850 or something better if your budget allows. It’ll help the CPU reach its full potential.

Could you explain why you recommend those other motherboards for my CPU? I'm curious about the performance differences.

Consider upgrading your memory and storage setup. They play a significant role in overall performance, especially for gaming or heavy workloads.

Oh, I mistakenly mentioned CL36 RAM; it’s actually CL30. My bad!

You might want to reconsider some of those parts. I've found that you could save some cash by looking into lesser-known brands for components like RAM and storage. While brands like Corsair and Samsung are reliable, they do tend to charge a premium just for their name. For example, a different motherboard like a B850 chipset could still give you PCIe5 support without breaking the bank. Ultimately, it’s your build, but I’d recommend balancing aesthetics with performance.

I appreciate the insight! I really only chose trusted brands because it's been years since I built a PC. What specific alternatives would you suggest instead of the ones I picked?

The RAM you're using is good, but CL30 RAM offers better speed if you're into that kind of performance boost. Overall, your build looks solid, albeit a bit pricey.

Thanks for the tip! I’ll definitely check into that.
