I'm looking to upgrade my really outdated PC and could use some suggestions for a good GPU. I'm considering the 1080 Ti, which seems like a decent option for playing newer games. However, I've also heard that the RTX 3060 12GB and the RX 6700 XT 12GB are solid alternatives. Here are my current specs:
- Gigabyte GA-H170-GAMING 3 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
- 32GB 8x4 DDR4 2133Mhz Memory
- Intel Core i7-6700K 4GHz Quad-Core Processor
- Asus STRIX GeForce GTX 1060 6GB Video Card
- Raidmax Cobra RX-600AE 600W 80+ Gold Certified Non-Modular ATX12V v2.2 Power Supply
What do you recommend? Thanks!

Even though the specs suggest it performs a bit worse, I'd recommend going for the RTX 3060 12GB over the 1080 Ti. The reason is that it supports ray tracing, which is becoming more necessary in newer games (like the upcoming Indiana Jones game), plus it has DLSS, which can really help with performance on a budget. The RX 6700 XT is actually closer to the 3070 and could be a better option if it's priced similarly.
