I just built a new PC but couldn't afford a GPU at the time, so I transferred my old Nvidia GTX 1560. It's really holding me back, and I'm finally ready to upgrade. My current setup includes an AMD 7 9800 X3D processor, 32 GB DDR5 RAM, and an 850 watt power supply, all on a Gigabyte B850 Gaming X motherboard. I was considering either an RTX 5070 Ti or an RTX 5080. What do you think is the best option?

Your monitor matters, too! If you’re gaming at 1440p, the 5070 Ti is a fantastic option. I recently upgraded to a 5070 just for 1080p, and anything higher feels excessive for my setup right now.

I definitely say go for the 5070 Ti! It balances performance and cost very well.

It really depends on how many FPS you’re looking for! If you're going for high performance, you might also consider the 9070 XT, as it's similar to the 5070 Ti.

I want to max it out! I’ve already invested a lot in my CPU and RAM, so I need a GPU that can keep up.

I’m staying loyal to my 4070 Ti for now; it’s doing great!

Honestly, it depends on your budget. If you find the 5080 for $999 or less, that’s a solid choice. Otherwise, the 70 Ti offers great performance for a more reasonable price. I got mine for $909, and I feel like it’s the sweet spot.
