Hey everyone! A while back, I deleted my Skype account, but I remember having ongoing chats with people. I'm aware that when someone deletes their account, the chats don't disappear for others. My question is, will my deleted account and its associated chats still show up in the contact lists or conversations of the people I was chatting with? Thanks for any insights!

Actually, Skype has been transitioned over to Microsoft Teams now, so it's kind of tricky. But they mentioned that chats and contacts should migrate when you log in to Teams. The big question is whether your account info would still be visible to the other users who were chatting with you after you deleted it. That's something we’re still trying to figure out. Has anyone tested this out?
Yeah, I agree with TechGuru77. Just because the account is deleted doesn’t mean it disappears completely for others. People might still see your messages unless they’ve cleared the chat. It sounds like your presence might linger in their contacts until they decide to remove it.
