I'm looking to upgrade my PC with a Ryzen 7800X3D CPU and a Radeon 7900XT GPU. My power supply is still good enough to support both, but I'm wondering if there's anything else I should consider changing. Also, what do you all think about this CPU and GPU combination?

That sounds like a fantastic combo! For the motherboard, I'd recommend getting a B850 board. It'll give you solid performance without breaking the bank. Just make sure it has good VRM cooling for that CPU!

Exactly, a Gigabyte 850 gold plus is a solid choice. Just ensure it’s in good condition since you've had it since 2020. You want to maintain a reliable power supply for those high-performing parts!

Do you already have DDR5 RAM? That's a must for that setup. Also, how old is your power supply? If it's a good quality 850W, you should be fine, but it's better to have a little extra headroom in case of future upgrades.
