I accidentally spilled water on my laptop while watching a show. I quickly dried it with a tissue and a cloth, and unplugged it, thinking that was enough. However, after the episode, I noticed that pressing the Esc key caused the volume to increase and the keyboard lights up, which shouldn't happen! I flipped the laptop upside down, but now it keeps turning on and off by itself, and I'm really worried about losing everything on it or having to pay a lot for repairs. Is there any chance it could dry out and get fixed on its own?

If you have access to an external drive, back up your files as soon as you can. That way, if things go south, at least you won't lose your important stuff!
