Hi everyone! I just graduated and got a job at a startup in the DevOps team. To be honest, I'm a bit lost since I don't have much knowledge about DevOps. I have one week before my job begins, and I'm looking for suggestions on what I can do to prepare and get familiar with the field. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Make sure to practice your Linux skills, especially shell scripting and sysadmin tasks. Most DevOps work involves these skills, and you can learn a lot on the job too if you jump right in!
Check out the YouTube channel "Techworld with Nana". It really breaks down the basics of DevOps, so you’ll have a solid foundation before diving in. Congrats on landing the job by the way—pretty impressive!
Thank you!
Don't just stick to reading or watching tutorials—actually build something! It’s one of the best ways to learn and will really help you understand how everything fits together.
Got it, thank you!
A great resource is the website roadmap.sh/devops. It outlines what you should focus on learning in DevOps and can guide your study efforts effectively.
Thank you!
Thanks!
