I recently scanned my PC with Dr. Web and it flagged my hosts file for malware (specifically, HOSTS:MALWARE.URL). I'm getting an error when I try to fix it, so I'm wondering if this is something I should be worried about and what steps I can take to address it.

I'd recommend deleting the suspicious entry and trying to install Malwarebytes. It's a pretty good tool for malware removal. If you're unsure about which version to download, just get the free trial version from their website!
Some people have questioned Dr. Web’s reliability, with some claiming it might be malware itself. Just be cautious and consider getting a second opinion from another antivirus.
Thanks! I'm on it, but the Malwarebytes website has so much info. Could someone point me directly to the free trial link?
