I'm a PhD student in mathematics from India, and now that I've submitted my thesis, I'm looking for assistant professor positions. A lot of the colleges I'm applying to have been asking if I plan to take a Python course aimed at undergraduate students. Since I'm a complete beginner in Python, I would really appreciate your recommendations for a solid certification course. Thanks in advance for your help!

Honestly, many employers don't really care about certifications. They often care more about your actual skills over a piece of paper. If they are insisting on certification, I'd definitely ask which ones they prefer.
You might want to check if the employers have any specific Python courses in mind. Sometimes, institutions have preferences based on what they consider reputable. Just ask them directly which certifications they value most and go from there!

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll reach out to them but I want to gather some options first.
