Hey everyone, I recently upgraded my CPU from a Ryzen 5 3600 to a Ryzen 7 5700X and also bumped my PSU from 600W to 850W. Now I'm looking to buy a GPU to handle 4K gaming. My budget is €1,000. I'm considering the RTX 5070 Ti, which costs €950, or the RX 9070 XT at €660. The 5070 Ti is quite a bit more expensive, about 41% more than the 9070 XT. Is the extra cost for the 5070 Ti really worth it?

From my own experience, always avoid the cheapest options! I had a really loud and overheating GPU once, it wasn’t worth the initial savings. Just spend a bit more for something reliable. Since you're considering options, I'd skip the cheapest models, even if they're appealing at first.
I'd suggest going for the 9070 XT. It's a solid card for its price and will perform well at 4K without breaking the bank.
Honestly, the extra money for the 5070 Ti isn't justified. The 9070 XT holds strong performance without all the extra features that add to the price. You're paying a lot more just for ray tracing and DLSS, which might not even be worth it for your gaming needs.
If you’re looking at raw performance, the 9070 XT will give you great value. The 5070 Ti is more expensive, mainly for its ray tracing capabilities, but unless you're really into those features, the 9070 XT is the smarter pick.
The performance gap isn't huge between the two cards in native settings. Unless you're obsessed with DLSS and ray tracing, which isn't worth an additional €300 for me, stick with the 9070 XT, especially at that price difference.
