Hey everyone! I'm looking for a reliable solution to display regularly updated content like calendars or presentations across several TVs in a large office, regardless of the source (like SharePoint, Excel, PDF, etc.). I feel like using a NUC computer for each TV is overkill, and a Raspberry Pi might require too much maintenance and pose security issues. I was considering some form of multi-casting using Ethernet/HDMI with a single host, but that seems to limit functionality. I've also heard about Monitors AnyWhere but I'm not very familiar with it. Any suggestions or advice on what might work best? Thanks a lot!

It sounds like using a NUC or Raspberry Pi is pretty common for this kind of setup. But if you're feeling it's too much, you might want to look into Samsung's MagicInfo. It’s a widely used solution for digital signage, and it might fit your needs really well.
For a more traditional approach, you can consider HDMI over Ethernet solutions. There are plenty of adapters online for that. Also, if you're trying to keep costs down, think about using Roku devices with a platform like OptiSign for signage.
Have you checked out BrightSign? We switched from an old mix of Mac Minis to BrightSign devices, and it was a game changer! They're designed for digital signage and come with solid support and documentation. Super reliable too!
Just a thought, but if you’re not streaming live info and only updating documents like spreadsheets or PDFs, you might check out Ubiquiti Connect. I’ve been testing it and it’s been working well for my use case.
If you're looking for something simple, Yodeck is a great option. Each display uses a Raspberry Pi but can be controlled from an online dashboard. It’s user-friendly and pretty secure, which might be a big plus for your needs.
That sounds interesting! How does it handle updates for the content?
