I'm trying to locate the right registry keys, but simply Googling for articles and discussions hasn't been effective for me. I recall coming across a registry key reference site in the past, but I can't remember it anymore. Any advice on how to find the correct keys?

Without more context, it’s tough for anyone to help you effectively. You should definitely provide some details in your post—like are you trying to find GPO settings for Excel? If so, Microsoft Docs has a lot of good info on that!

It really depends on what you're looking for! Generally, if you know the software or policy you're trying to tweak, you can search for that along with "registry keys". It's much easier when you have the specific context!

Honestly, start by learning the basics. It can be daunting, but there are many resources out there to help you understand registry edits without jumping in blindly.

I recommend checking out SysTools ProcMon. You can record your actions, toggle the setting you want, and then sift through the results to find the relevant registry keys.

That's super helpful, thanks!

Just be careful! It’s easy to accidentally mess things up when editing the registry. You might want to avoid random changes without understanding what they do!
