What’s This Weird Noise Coming from My GPU?

I've been hearing a strange noise that seems to come from my GPU. It started out of the blue and it definitely syncs with the GPU fan activity—if I turn the fans on or off, the noise starts and stops accordingly. My GPU isn't even three years old, so I'd be surprised if it was a bearing issue. The noise fluctuates even when the fans are running. I also checked my GPU sag bracket and it's not in contact with any of the fins. Has anyone experienced something similar?

I understand how frustrating that is! If the noise is more of a grinding sound and just started recently, it might be that something's hitting against the fans. I suggest checking to make sure there’s nothing obstructing them and that they’re securely attached. It could also be worth cleaning out any dust that might have built up. Sometimes clearing that out can help reduce noise.

I couldn't view the video, but from what you're describing, it could be coil whine if the noise gets louder when the GPU is under load. It’s pretty common with GPUs, and unfortunately, there's not much you can do to fix it. Some cards just have it worse than others, but rest assured, it won't harm your GPU.
