I'm a Java backend developer with my applications hosted on AWS. I'm looking for advice on which AWS certification would be the best fit for my role. Any suggestions?

I've taken both the AWS Developer and Solutions Architect certifications. From my experience, the Developer certification is more aligned with backend development, but the Solutions Architect one is still valuable. They also have a professional level for Solutions Architect, which is something to consider. And they're introducing a new Generative AI Developer certification, so keep an eye on that too!
What specific goals do you have in mind for getting certified? It's worth looking into how these certifications are valued by employers nowadays because perspectives can change over time.
The Developer Associate certification should be a good fit for you. I've completed it along with the Solutions Architect one, and they complement each other well.
I usually recommend starting with the Solutions Architect Associate certification. It gives a solid overview of AWS services, which is crucial for any developer. The Developer certification focuses more on integrating AWS into applications, and the DevOps certification is great for learning about deployment pipelines and services like ECS. I've done all these exams, so just let me know if you have any specific questions!
