I'm currently using a Ryzen 5600 paired with 16GB of 3200MHz RAM and a GTX 1660 Super. I'm looking to upgrade my GPU so that I can game at 1440p, even if it means tweaking some settings. My goal is to be able to play Battlefield 6 and other AAA titles like Baldur's Gate 3 and Cyberpunk 2077. I'm considering the RX 9060 XT 16GB, which I can get for around 350-370€. I'm also open to suggestions for older models that might either be more powerful or comparable in performance for a better price. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance!

The RX 9060 XT is a solid choice right now. It's relatively new with a performance level on par with the older 6800 XT but at a similar price point. Plus, you get the benefits of its newer architecture and features like FSR 4. I'm running it at 1440p on an ultrawide monitor, getting around 80-100 fps in Cyberpunk, so it can definitely handle that resolution!
Just get the RX 9060 XT 16GB. It’s definitely the best value out there right now.
Sounds like a plan, thanks!
If you're looking for a current-gen card, the RX 9060 XT is a no-brainer. It’s performing really well for 1440p.
Thanks for the confirmation!
You might also want to check for these older GPUs which outperform the 9060 XT: RX 6800 XT, RX 7800 XT, RTX 3080, and RTX 4070. Prices can vary a lot depending on the used market, though.
I appreciate the suggestions, but like others mentioned, those are often priced higher in my area.
Exactly, if a 6800 XT was cheaper, it would make sense, but the price difference isn't great enough!

Awesome! I’m also considering an ultrawide but might wait a few years. Good to know the 9060 XT can handle it!
