I'm in the market for a new GPU to play Battlefield 6, and I'm torn between the RTX 3060 with 12GB of VRAM and the RTX 5060 with 8GB, as they are similarly priced. If anyone has suggestions for better options in this price range, I'm all ears!

Honestly, those two options aren't the best for future-proofing. The 3060 has more VRAM, but it might struggle, while the 5060 has only 8GB which could become obsolete quickly. If you can swing it, consider the 16GB variant of the 5060 or even the 4060, or look into AMD for better price-to-performance ratios.
Or you could go for the 9060 XT with 16GB!
