I'm trying to decide between the RTX 5060 Ti, 5070, and the RX 9060 for my next build. I don't mind paying a bit more for higher VRAM, but I'm torn. The RX 9060 is less powerful than the Nvidia cards, but the 5060 Ti doesn't seem to have the best reputation. The 5070 is quite pricey at £530. Is it worth spending an extra £250 for the 5070 compared to the RX 9060?

Both the 5070 and the 9060 have their merits, but it really depends on your gaming needs. If you’re not into ray tracing or intensive video tasks, the 9060 should serve you well for a solid 1440p experience, maybe even 4K with some settings tweaked.
If money isn't really an issue for you, I'd definitely go for the 5070. It provides a substantial performance boost over the 5060 Ti and the 9060.
The 5070 is probably the best overall in terms of performance, but it’s quite a jump in price. Have you thought about the RX 9070 instead? It competes directly with the 5070 and has more VRAM, which can help with future-proofing your setup for more demanding games.
The RX 9060 XT is a fantastic choice, especially at around £330. The 5060 Ti at £400 feels overpriced, and while the 5070 at £500 is an option, I think saving the cash for a future upgrade would serve you better.
I think the RX 9060 XT with 16GB is the best value right now. It offers great performance at a lower price point than the Nvidia options.
Sounds good! I think I’ll go with that then, thanks! 😀
